- stonepipe2, thanks. We have 18 to 28 inches of snow forecast-ed here on Coastal Maine. You are right, these super storms are basically hurricanes in frozen form.

- Laura, The camera shaking is from the wind gusts which have been recorded at over 65 mph. It sounds like a freight train is coming through here. I have snow drifts that have blocked me into the house...appr. 10 feet high. There is no way an emergency vehicle could make it down my street.

- kaybee- Kennebunk is really a gorgeous coastal town and lovely community that tourists seek out during the summer. (It's the town next to Walker's Point where the Bush's have their summer compound.) I have friends who teach there and this mess has been hard on families and their children.
